Key responsibilities
  • Assist in maximising the overall income and profitability of your branch.
  • Attend daily morning meetings.
  • Maintain an adequate applicant register.
  • Maintain regular contact with the company’s clients.
  • Ensure all appointments are entered into the office diary.
  • Placement of timely advertisements within the expenditure limits set by your Manager and monitor responses.
  • Completion of success sheets and process tenant applications in accordance with company policy.
  • To qualify landlords and tenants according to company policy and in particular in accordance with the information required for completion of tenant and landlord cards/forms.
  • Ensure all sign ups are dealt with efficiently and explanations are provided to tenants where necessary.
  • To make all tenants aware of their insurance responsibilities and endeavour to sell suitable insurance at every opportunity.
  • To meet personal targets set and agreed with your Manager.
  • To carry out viewings and market appraisals in a professional and efficient manner.
  • To follow company’s Personal Safety Procedures to avoid putting yourself at risk.
  • Compliance with the company’s banking and cash handling procedures.
  • To ensure no Let goes ahead without cleared funds.
  • To comply with current legal legislation (i.e. gas safety).
Skills required
  • Must be highly organised and enthusiastic.
  • Team orientated and able to adapt well to new and exciting situations.
  • To be punctual at all times and ensure you are dressed in accordance with the Company’s Dress Code.
  • To follow company Etiquette with regard to answering telephones and maintaining company cars.
  • To attend company’s formal training sessions when requested and any coaching arranged by your Manager.
  • To ensure that any further responsibilities as directed by your Manager are carried out to the best of your ability and with the utmost diligence at all times.
