Key responsibilities
  • Handle all enquiries and record new tenants applications
  • Arrange inventories, safety certificates and handle keys
  • Effectively manage the diary
  • Liase with tenants, applicants and landlords
  • Progress tenants references
  • Prepare tenancy paperwork
  • Set up insurance policies
  • Process tenant application forms
  • Receive monies, issue receipts and ensure monies banked
  • Welcome and deal with people coming into the office
  • Notify utility companies of changes of occupier
  • Organise mid term visits at tenanted properties
  • Keep website and window displays up to date.
  • Liase with local branches to gain referrals and applicant information.
  • Ensure local branches have property lists and window cards.
  • Ensure all property and tenancy files are complete and chase any info/paperwork outstanding
  • Effectively market and promote properties for sale.
  • Regularly contact applicants by telephone to arrange viewings at properties and accompany those viewings.
Skills required
  • Previous general administrative experience including a good understanding of IT systems including word, excel is required
  • A dynamic and pro-active individual.

  • This is initially a part-time role with the potential to go full-time
