| | DOUBLE TOP FOR CONNELLS | | | Within the space of three weeks Connells was officially named the best large estate agency group in the UK by judges at two separate prestigious awards ceremonies.
At the Estate Agency of the Year awards hosted by TV Presenter Melissa Porter at the QEII Conference Centre in London, the Connells Group took the Best Large Estate Agency title for the fourth time in five years and Connells Residential was also judged the Best New Homes Agent for the fourth successive year. Success in these Awards, which celebrate and endorse excellence and best practice in estate agency, does not come easy. All entrants are interviewed and every submission is assessed by an independent panel of industry experts chaired by Christopher Hamer, the Ombudsman for Estate Agents.
Just eighteen days earlier Connells beat off competition from some of the largest, household name estate agencies in the country to be named Estate Agency of the Year (National Chain) at the inaugural Negotiator Magazine Awards which were hosted by Rory Bremner.
“To consistently be named the best of the best is a fantastic achievement and proves that we deliver the same top quality performance in any sort of housing market,” says Connells Operations Director Stuart Flavell. “Judges, who described Connells as ‘outstanding’ were particularly impressed by the way we have been proactive in coming up with practical new ideas to help people move in the current climate, such as our ValueShare scheme.”
In the Best New Homes category judges also remarked on the initiatives Connells have embraced to help both housebuilders and purchasers saying: “By becoming MyChoiceHomeBuy appointed agents (for those struggling to raise a deposit) and Homewise lifetime lease sellers (for the over 60’s) they really have all angles covered.” They summed up Connells Residential’s New Homes performance by saying “Connells are the biggest without question, but they do offer the most comprehensive service, so deserve the Gold.”
