Palmer takes leading role at Conveyancing Direct

03 February 2011

Conveyancing Direct Property Lawyers (CDPL), part of the Connells Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Palmer as Managing Director

Andrew has been promoted from his last role as Operations Director of CDPL and replaces former Managing Director Stephen Ambler who has retired after six years at the helm.

As Operations Director, Andrew was instrumental in delivering operational and process improvements across CDPL to maximise revenue opportunities.

CDPL is the only volume conveyancing firm that is owned by a financial institution*. Over the past six years, it has developed a proposition which provides high levels of service to a number of corporate partners including estate agents.

“I am delighted to accept the position of Managing Director for CDPL and thrilled to be taking the business forward in 2011,” says Andrew. “The conveyancing market is set to change in 2011 as more estate agents seek to either benefit from volume conveyancing or enhance the existing services they offer. Our online conveyancing portal for agents allows them to offer customers an effective and transparent service and I am very excited about the opportunities this will bring.”

Connells Chief Executive David Livesey also commented on Andrew’s appointment: “I would like to thank Stephen Ambler for his contribution to the Connells Group, and congratulations to Andrew on his new role” says David. “CDPL has a unique proposition for agents, offering automated and flexible solutions to help them sell conveyancing more effectively.”
