Elderberry Walk from HAB Housing
Connells has been appointed by development company HAB Housing to exclusively lead the sales of private homes at new development Elderberry Walk in Southmead, Bristol.
The innovative new home project, which on completion will feature a range of homes from one-bedroom flats to four-bedroom homes, was recently launched by HAB Housing Chairman Kevin McCloud. Also in attendance were further representatives from HAB Housing, Bristol Mayor Martin Rees and Connells’ New Homes Board of Management Partner Paul Matthews (pictured).
Elderberry Walk is a 11,965m² 161 home scheme in Southmead, to the north of the city of Bristol, designed around a central 20m-wide ‘green street’ linking the homes to a neighbouring park. It is the first of its kind in the UK, bringing together a housing association, a community investment company and private sector capital to provide much needed high quality affordable homes to rent and buy.
Set on the former Dunmail Primary School site, Elderberry Walk will offer sustainable homes built with the environment in mind. The first homes are scheduled to be available for occupation in 2019, and private houses available for sale will be sold exclusively through Connells’ Filton branch with a show home launch taking place in the spring:
“Connells is proud to have been chosen to lead the sales on this ground-breaking scheme which delivers much needed housing stock to this neighbourhood,” says Paul Matthews, Connells New Homes Board of Management Partner. “HAB Housing is creating a beautiful, sustainable development with a strong sense of community at its core and we looking forward to showcasing the new homes at Elderberry Walk to prospective buyers.”
