Over 70% sold at Hayfield Grange, Southam, says Connells

Award-winning new homes available from £252,000 with Help to Buy

Local estate agency Connells is delighted to report that 70% of homes at new development Hayfield Grange in the market town of Southam, Warwickshire, are now sold, following a flurry of sales. A number of homes - built by What House? Awards Best Small Housebuilder 2019, Hayfield - have been snapped up by buyers keen to take advantage of the Govenrment's Help to Buy scheme,* which provides greater assistance for first-time buyers and existing homeowners to get onto or move up the property ladder.

Prices for the three and four-bedroom family homes range from £315,000 to £445,000, but for those choosing to use Help to Buy, a popular three-bedroom Hatton style home can be reserved for only £252,000, as the Government provides a 20 per cent equity loan. A key advantage of the scheme is that the mortgage deposit requirement is only five per cent, equating to £15,750 for a Hatton. All homes on sale at Hayfield Grange are eligible for Help to Buy, but this scheme is only available to all homeowners until March 2021, when it will change to a first-time buyer only initiative*.

The bespoke development of 51 homes is located just a short walk from the vibrant high street of Southam and play area, as well as Southam Primary, which is a feeder school for the Ofsted Outstanding-rated Southam College. In addition to the family homes, there are also two-bedroom Napton bungalows now released, priced from £375,000.
