Connells Land & New Homes welcome Patrick Addison

Connells’ Land & New Homes division is pleased to announce the latest addition to its senior management team, with the appointment of Patrick Addison to the role of Land Manager for the South West region, effective immediately.

Patrick brings over 10 years’ invaluable property experience to his new position, with previous roles including working within a specialist land and new homes estate agency, and a residential developments division in Prime Central London. Before joining the Connells Land & New Homes team this year, Patrick was working for another large land and new homes agency covering much of the South West, so has excellent knowledge of the area, as well as other major regions in the country.

As part of his responsibilities as Land Manager, Patrick will be charged with providing bespoke advice to national housebuilders, SME developers and housing associations. This will assist them to acquire new sites that could be utilised for housing in years to come, as well as strategic land opportunities for future developments of all scales. Areas covered include: Bristol, Somerset, Exeter, and Devon.

Patrick says: “I am delighted to have joined Connells as Land Manager. The concept of working alongside Paul Matthews and the established Land & New Homes team here really appealed to me. Connells have a great reputation and have been high performers in the land industry for decades now, the opportunity for me to draw from that well of experience was incredibly alluring, and the business has everything in place to help my development, and allow me to thrive as a land professional.”

“The Covid-19 pandemic has only worsened the housing crisis, and we are still in need of many more new homes. I am happy to be able to help facilitate their delivery by the putting deals together that get those homes built. The housing market across the South West has been very robust in recent years, prices are strong and the development market is very active, with pockets outperforming much of the UK - Bristol in particular has seen demand hit new levels. Despite the challenges that we have all faced in the last year, I look forward to the future and know we have the tools to adapt, no matter what the world may throw at us!” concludes Patrick.
