Caxton is a small village in South Cambridgeshire, 9 miles west of Cambridge and 7 miles east of St. Neots.
The village is most famous for Caxton gibbet, which is in the north of the village on the side of the A428, the roundabout on the A428 is also known as Caxton Gibbet. A minute away by car is the nearest supermarket, Morrison's in Cambourne. The village also has a mobile library service which runs every third Tuesday of the month and stops along Brockholt road at 11.10am.
Regarding education in the area the primary school catchment is for Bourn Primary School, and the secondary school catchment is Comberton Village Collage.
