Connells appointed to sell new homes at Hawkins Court, Northampton

Connells Northampton has been appointed as the selling agent for new homes at Hawkins Court in Northampton. A joint venture for local developers, ACCA Group and award-winning OEH Group, the site will comprise 89 one and two-bedroom apartments, with its show home and launch expected later this year, and full completion in late 2023.

Hawkins Court occupies a fantastic town-centre location in Northampton, immersed in the rich history of the town’s iconic boot and shoe factory quarter. The factory, once an essential boot supplier for the British Military in WW1, also provided walking and riding boots worn by Queen Victoria and Princess Anne, as well as Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay when they scaled Mount Everest in 1953. The development is set to be a landmark restoration, with the factory being completely derelict for over two decades, repurposing forgotten buildings of Northampton. It will also open a host of new housing choices and investment for residents of the town.
